This is a very easy to make egg nog recipe that's always a crowd pleaser. For parties try serving a punch bowl full of this rich creamy nog, and let guests choose to top their glasses with a dollop of whipped cream or a shot of "holiday spirit" from the bar.
EGG NOG
You will need the following ingredients:
2 cans (14 ounce each) sweetened condensed milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
6 cups milk
2 cups heavy whipping cream
pinch of salt to taste
ground nutmeg to taste
Optional: rum, bourbon, whisky to taste
Beat eggs until thick and pale yellow. Stir in condensed milk, vanilla, milk, and salt. Beat whipping cream to soft peak stage, and fold in egg mixture. Add nutmeg to taste. Chill well before serving. If adding alcohol, do so at serving time.
